11-18 April 2025 “Green duality”
This year’s theme “Green duality” refers to the contrast between the natural urban landscape and the accelerated development of built-up areas.
Through this theme we propose to explore important projects in various phases of implementation in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca, and during this tresue between the two cities we will explore various projects with an important historical contribution from Prahova county and important rural sites in the Romanian landscape, also sites of major importance being part of the UNESCO heritage. By visiting these places, our goal is to create a space for discussions between participants and invited specialists about the Romanian and international landscape, where we can learn from each other and establish contacts between countries and companies.
The European Landscape Architecture Student Association (ELASA) was founded in 1990 with the first gathering taking place in Portugal. ELASA serves as a vibrant community for sharing interests, passion, and professional connections.
ELASA meetings are made by students for the students. Beyond meetings, ELASA shares information about internships, landscape architecture events, workshops, competitions, Erasmus exchanges, and other relevant topics via its mailing list, enabling members to stay connected and informed.
ELASA also represents landscape architecture students at European and global meetings of professional and educational organisations, including IFLA (International Federation of Landscape Architects), IFLA Europe, and ECLAS (European Council of Landscape Architecture Schools).
